Same-day cancellation policy template
Same-day cancellations are hard to refill because the client list has little time to react. Use this starter to make the notice window, deposit rule, and reminder wording clear before booking.
Policy starter
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Same-day cancellations and missed appointments may be treated as late cancellations because the time cannot always be rebooked.
Deposit starter
If a deposit is required, it reserves the appointment time and applies to the appointment total. When the cancellation window is missed, the deposit may be kept as the late-cancel/no-show fee if this rule was shown before booking.
Reminder starter
Your appointment is tomorrow at {{appointment_time}}. Please reply today if you need to change it so the time can be offered to another client.
Same-day reply
I understand things happen. Because this is same-day notice, the appointment time is difficult to refill. I can help reschedule, and the late-cancel rule keeps the schedule fair for everyone.
