Cleaning service cancellation policy template

Cleaning appointments reserve staff, travel time, and a route plan. Clear cancellation and lockout wording helps protect the schedule when a client cancels late or the team cannot access the property.

Notice wording

Please reschedule at least 24 hours before your cleaning appointment so the team can adjust the route and offer the slot to another client.

Lockout rule

If the team arrives but cannot access the property, the visit may be treated as a late cancellation or rescheduled based on the circumstances.

Deposit or prepay rule

After repeated late cancellations or no-access visits, a deposit or prepayment may be required before another appointment is confirmed.

Your cleaning appointment is confirmed. Please make sure access instructions are current and reply early if the time needs to change.
